Our Story
Raising Consciousness Consulting, LLC
What began as a small monthly clinical consultation group of three women—each a mental health therapist in private practice—grew organically into something much greater. United by our shared experiences in education (from early childhood through higher education) and mental health, we came together seeking something simple yet profound: authentic community.
Through our work, we observed patterns across systems and settings. Despite good intentions, we consistently noticed gaps in resources and support systems for those caring for children and communities; limited emotional intelligence and understanding among stakeholders; a lack of integration of trauma-informed and developmentally aware practices; and a trend where healing concepts were understood intellectually, but not embodied in everyday life.
These shared realizations became our catalyst for change.
We founded Raising Consciousness Consulting (RCC) to bridge those gaps and shift the way communities heal. Our work brings a holistic, culturally conscious approach to consulting—one that blends psychological insight, education, advocacy, and embodiment.
Our goal is to transform understanding into embodiment—awareness into action.
Our Mission
We inspire and empower stakeholders working with children and families across Greater New Orleans and the Gulf South. Through culturally conscious training, consultation, and coaching, we transform communities and organizations into equitable, inclusive, and thriving environments. By addressing cultural biases, fostering wellness, and building strong community resources, we help create spaces where unity, belonging, and growth flourish.
